- Rubber band method: In this removal method, the supply of blood in that affected area is cut. In this way when the lump doesn’t get blood, it shrinks and slowly vanishes away slowly. This is mostly recommended for internal hemorrhoids.
- Hemorrhoidectomy: This is the most effective way of removing the protruded part from the body. In this its completely removed from the body hence the name Hemorrhoidectomy.
- Radio Electric Coagulation: In this method, the affected area is exposed to infra red rays or electric current. This leads to burning of the swollen structure and after repeating the process twice or thrice it shrinks and finally vanishes away.
- Removal by Hardening agent: This method of removing hemorrhoids by injecting the hardening agent is also used sometimes to get rid of internal ones. Hardening agent injected in the blood results in loss of blood circulation which helps in removal of the clot.
